Kalshi Inc., the leading prediction market operator in the US, said it’s adding restrictions for users who are 18 to 20 years old, including a $2,500 monthly deposit limit.
Users in the affected age group will be automatically placed into “special accounts” that come with features that Kalshi said are designed to curb risky behavior by young adults. Those customers who have balances over $1,000 will receive an alert to diversify their trading if they place more than 25% of their balance on a single bet, the firm said in a statement.
