Physical Intelligence, a startup developing artificial intelligence software to power robots for real-world tasks, is in funding talks that would nearly double its valuation to roughly $20 billion, according to people familiar with the matter.
The company is in discussions to raise at least $1 billion in the financing round, the people said, requesting anonymity to share private information. Existing backers Avenir and Lux Capital are in talks to lead the round, the people said.
