The European Central Bank will probably increase borrowing costs next month due to the worsening outlook for inflation, Governing Council member Joachim Nagel said.
Even the baseline projection for consumer prices presented in September was based on a further move and the picture has only deteriorated since then, the Bundesbank President said in a speech in Berlin.
