Palo Alto Networks Inc. Chief Executive Officer Nikesh Arora, who has consistently ranked among the top-paid corporate leaders in the US, saw his compensation package shrink last year following persistent opposition from investors.
Arora’s compensation for the 2026 fiscal year that ended in July totaled $80.3 million, a roughly 20% decline from a year earlier, the company said Tuesday in its latest proxy statement. Palo Alto Networks shareholders voted against the firm’s executive pay last year for the seventh time since 2015. Much of the pay is tied to stock.
