I Squared Capital is in advanced talks to acquire Orizon Aerostructures, a key supplier of parts for the F-35 fighter jet and Boeing Co.’s 737 Max, as a global push to boost defense and commercial aircraft production fuels demand for scarce aerospace manufacturing capacity.
A deal, which could be announced as soon as this week, is expected to value Orizon at about $2 billion, according to people familiar with the matter.
